Japanese Dining Sakamaru

Friendly Izakaya

Not far from Kushiro station. The waitresses in mini-kimonos and crocs were extremely helpful despite us only knowing 5 words of Japanese.

Our beers came with crab legs and two small random items, one of which may have been fish livers. We then ordered mackerel which required diner participation involving a blow torch and a lemon. Plus amazingly succulent fried chicken. Oishi!

Everyone was super friendly, with all the staff shouting greetings as we arrived and left.
